We have three main ministries for children at St Michaels. It is our hope that through these ministries, children will experience community, feel valued and welcomed and will grow in love for God and in his love for them.
Our children’s ministry is led by our Children’s Worker, Jenny Gallimore who leads a team of volunteers.
Active Angels has been a key part of the ministry and care given to the children and households of Bramhall for many years. Active Angels a space where all are welcome and where we can collaboratively grow and develop together.
Active Angels takes place on Tuesday mornings during term time from 10am to 11.30am
For children between the ages of 0 to 5, and the grown ups who come with them, Active Angels hosts play, crafts and refreshments concluding with sing-along time and community notices.
No need to book a place,
come along and join us in the activity!
What is BUDS?
BUDS is Children’s worship held in our parish centre, joining the adult service at its conclusion to share what we have studied. BUDS helps to keep children familiar with the prayers and structure that we use in every service and ensures that the gospel is shared with children in a way that makes sense to them. We include songs, stories and activities, often including activities or crafts to take home. BUDS aims to plant the seeds of faith within the hearts of children, and to provide them with the support and safety they need to grow as members of the wider Church.
Who leads BUDS?
BUDS is primarily led by our Children’s Worker. All of our other volunteer leaders, have basic safeguarding awareness training, and we encourage parents to come with their children to ensure their safety at all times. St Michael and All Angels church is committed to safeguarding and ensuring the wellbeing of all its congregation and staff, and BUDS takes every precaution and step to keep your children safe and happy.
When is BUDS?
Buds is held every week, during the 10:00 am service at St Michael and All Angels church and parish centre.
