Fun, Faith, and Fellowship with Bramhall St Michaels Mothers Union
We meet in the afternoon on the fourth Thursday of each month for 'fun, faith and fellowship'. The fun or entertainment is usually, though not always, provided by a speaker. In addition Mothers Union holds several evening meetings throughout the year.
The main purpose of Mothers Union is to encourage marriage and support family life in whatever form it takes. Membership is open to everyone who has been baptized, and we have several male members at St Michaels.
Projects run by M.U. in our diocese of Chester include: providing holidays for families in need, a contact centre where 'absent' parents may meet their children in safety, a hostel for young people, parenting classes, prison visiting, and a 'virtual baby' project to discourage teenage pregnancy.
In addition, at Bramhall St Michaels, M.U. helps with Newala, Active Angels, Messy Church and wherever we are needed!
If you are interested in finding out more about Mothers Union at St Michaels then please do contact us and one of our Mothers Union leaders will be in touch.
