Welcome to TGiM (Thank God it’s Monday)
We are a men’s group who meet at St Michael’s on the second Monday of each month for a light lunch and a chat.
Occasionally we have a guest speaker. Sometimes a talk might be given by one of the TGiM members. We might just have a quiz—nothing too taxing.
We meet from 12:15 to be seated by 12:45 pm.
The light lunch usually consists of homemade soup and rolls, followed by a trio of cheeses and grapes washed down by a mug of tea or coffee.
Occasionally we might meet in a local pub or restaurant for lunch for a change.
TGiM members are welcome from within the parish or further afield. It isn’t a pre-requisite to be a church member of this or any other church.
The group consists of a core of about fifteen people but rising on occasion to eighteen or more attendees.
TGiM is here to provide a friendly and welcome respite for a few hours for as many reasons as we have members.
TGiM doesn’t have a rigid structure, it is flexible and driven by the members’ wishes.
TGiM might be just what you’re looking for; we hope so and look forward to your company.
There is no subscription or joining fee, although a small donation towards the cost of the lunch is appreciated.
